Head Bartender - Job Description
We are looking for a Head Bartender to come and join our fast-growing bar and restaurant team, serving up modern day London favourites and classics in our bar and restaurant in Bethnal Green.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Head Bartender to come and take the reins of a new and exciting bar within a business, currently re-branding.
You must be a committed, proactive Head Bartender who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment to join our venue.
The Head Bartender will work closely with the Bar Manager to promote and grow the business, train staff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You will also assist in inventory management, planning promotional events, ensuring that quality and safety controls are followed and help to deliver business objectives to increase profits and maximise customer satisfaction.
In order to succeed as a Head Bar Tender, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.

Head Bartender Requirements:
Have experience in running shifts within a bar.
Be confident working with IT systems.
Manage staff, and ensure that customers are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service, working alongside the Bar Manager.
A very hands-on enthusiastic approach is required.
Ability to open/close venue
Ability to successfully run shifts.
Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resources.
You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and age groups and diffuse tense situations.
Able to work on own and part of a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
High levels of customer service with a personalised touch, maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts (training can be given)
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine and beer is essential.
